Suggestions For Lady Macbeth:

House of Cards:  In this all-american thriller, Frank Underwood is a congress member from South Carolina.  He is promised a chair as the Secretary of State if he helped Garret Walker become elected as president.  With a last minute change, Underwood and Walker's deal went away, leaving Underwood out to dry.  Frank Underwood sets out to gain revenge for Garret Walker for not following through on his deal.  Power, greed and corruption-a match made in heaven for Lady Macbeth.  This reveals a lot about Lady Macbeth: such as her murderous personality that is fueled by greed for power, somewhat similar to Underwood.

How to Get Away with Murder: Annalise Keating is a criminal law professor that teaches a class "How to get away with murder".  As an assignment, she chooses 5 of her students to become her formal interns at her law firm.  One night, Keating's husband is murdered by one of her students, setting up this series to find out the actual murderer.  Dealing with murder, this series would be recommended for Lady Macbeth perfectly.  Lady Macbeth would have been a star student in Ms. Keating's class, for getting away with Duncan's and the guard's murder.  This reveals that Lady Macbeth did indeed get away with murder, but poses a deeper question, similar to the death of Mr. Keating, as to what was the true motive of the murderer.

The Crown:  This is based on the award winning play, The Audience.  Dealing with Queen Elizabeth and her early stages in her rise to power, this would be a perfect show for Lady Macbeth.  Dealing with power and greed, Lady Macbeth would be trapped in this show.  This shows that Lady Macbeth wants to learn how to be like Queen Elizabeth, when her husband becomes the Thane of Cawdor.  This reveals her greed and self interest for the prophecy of Macbeth, and her greed for power will drive her to commit actions that bring regret to her later in life.

Making a Murderer:  Steven Avery was exonerated after spending nearly 20 years in prison for a crime that he did not commit.  Shorty after Avery filed a lawsuit for being wrongly accused, he was placed behind bars, being accused of a murder once again.  This series is a documentary of the events surround Steven Avery's life.  This show would be a recommendation for Lady Macbeth, but only after she finishes all four seasons of How to Get Away with Murder.  This reveals the murderous aspects of Lady Macbeth, showing what actually does make a murderer.  Lady Macbeth would chose this as murder is a subject close to her heart, one that she is familiar with, and this show would indeed grab her interest.

    I also said that Lady Macbeth would enjoy How to Get Away With Murder!!! Great minds think alike :))) it's interesting that you said Lady Macbeth would be a star student in Keating's class while I said that she would learn more from watching that selected group cover up their tracks. I contemplated using Making a Murderer as a show for LM to watch but your explanation of why she would watch it was great!! Grand job, comrade!

This advertisement was created by Mcdonalds, years ago when they offered supersized meals.  This ad would be placed on a billboard to be viewed by the public. Denotative:  This item is promoting a super-size upgrade when purchasing a meal for any Mcdonald's restaurant.  The outcome of this is getting a better value, i.e., more food and drink for a better price per unit.  Featured in this advertisement are Mcdonald's famous fries and their choice of soft drink, Coca-Cola.  The creator of this image used images to appeal to the audience. The intended audience for this picture is to all Mcdonald's customers and those who always look for the best value when purchasing meals.  Also, due to the low price, Mcdonald's customers are often from low income or low social class areas. Final Reflection

My Final Reflection: A Short Story It was 11:45pm.  All of my homework was nearing completion and a wave a relief fell over me, knowing that I would soon be asleep in my comfortable bed.  As I am finishing up some final math problems, I give myself a pat on the back knowing that I will be in bed before midnight tonight.  While brushing my teeth, thinking about my always exciting A days that occur on Monday, I realized that I had forgotten something- a blog post!
